Techniques for growing raspberries
Before soaking, Bamboo seeds need to be dried for about 2-3 hours in the sun to increase water absorption and increase the seed's ability to germinate. Soak Moso bamboo seeds in clean water, stir well and soak the seeds for about 10 - 15 minutes
1. Prepare soil and seeds
Sow the raspberry seeds about 1cm deep into the prepared soil. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and use a spray bottle to water them to keep the soil moist. Unlike other plants, raspberry seeds have a relatively long germination time. They fall around 2 months. Remember to place the sowing pot in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight. Maintain moisture for seeds until germination.
2. Drills
Growing raspberries does not require much water. You should only water when the soil underneath is dry and usually about 3 times a week. Regarding fertilization regime, you should also add organic fertilizer to the tree when spring comes to encourage the tree to grow new shoots.
The special feature of the tree is that wherever the roots grow, new shoots grow from there. Therefore, you only need to plant it once and then only need to harvest the fruit every year and there is absolutely no need to plant a new one. Every year, periodically thin out branches, removing old weak branches, leaving only large, healthy branches.
