Bamboo planting techniques
Before soaking, Bamboo seeds need to be dried for about 2-3 hours in the sun to increase water absorption and increase the seed's ability to germinate. Soak Moso bamboo seeds in clean water, stir well and soak the seeds for about 10 - 15 minutes
1. Handling bamboo sprouts
Treat dormant buds to stimulate germination, then continue soaking in clean water for about 24 - 36 hours. During the soaking process, change the water every 4-5 hours, rinse once, soak until the bamboo seeds absorb all the water, then rinse, drain and then incubate.
2. Soak the seeds
After the seeds have absorbed enough water, wash them, drain them and put them in a basket covered with a damp towel to incubate the seeds. During the incubation process, water and stir the seeds twice a day to ensure even germination. Once the seeds have germinated, plant them in mud or wet soil, and after 1 week the plants will grow
3. Incubate
When the tree is about 40cm -70cm tall, it can be planted in the ground
