Instructions for germination of seeds
Watermelon seed shells are hard, to increase the germination rate, soak the seeds in warm water at a ratio of 2 boiling water / 3 cold water for 12 hours.
Dig planting holes about 2-3 cm deep and spaced about 1-2 feet apart. Place the watermelon seeds in the hole and cover it evenly with soil.
Water gently to moisten the soil. Make sure the soil stays moist but not waterlogged.
Monitor and water regularly, especially during the sprouting and budding stages. Remove weeds and keep the area around the plant clean.
Once the tree has grown, you can apply organic fertilizer or reasonable fertilizer to provide nutrients for the tree.
Use straw or mulch to retain moisture, suppress weeds and reduce water loss.
